edit: I changed the name of the thread because he is now applying to the guild and will be adding flash games. He has themes to his games each week, and this week he has to make a game based on the verb "slice"

Lol, I played the zombie game and I lived for 78 seconds :P It was pretty cool, but I loved the music!

Super zombie assault - 247 (but it`s only because I had to go away from PC xD also I think there is a slight problem, since sometimes bullets are just going straight through zombies and not hurting them... or is that supposed to be like that and those were just tougher zombies?>

These were just quick games I made for my Digital Rapid Prototyping class. The point is to crank out games each week and analyze how they are successful and how they are failures. The class really focuses on failing and how you have to fail so much before you come up with something that is good.

I'm about to start creating my next game and I'm requesting some suggestions. In lieu of Halloween coming up, the theme for this one is based on the verb "slice". For example, when you think of Mario you think of "jump" and Sonic is "spin". There's really no bad suggestions and any ideas will be greatly appreciated

I'll make sure to post the game on Monday so yall can play it, critique, and battle for high score.

Okay, here it is. Game prototype #4. ORGAN THIEF.

I wanted to make a game that was kind of like those restaurant table serving games, but instead of a restaurant it's a morgue and instead of serving food you are cutting out organs. I had to change the win/lose state just so I could have a somewhat finished game to turn in on time. Anyways, I know there are a bunch of bugs to be fixed and a lot more content I would like to add to the game but after all I would consider it a good prototype to expand upon.

Since it's an HTML5 game, the game speed is kinda determined by which browser you are playing in.

Nice games you made there! I enjoyed them I did find a bug at fever dream though... When I lost the big... thing, and only had the little one I moved to the edge of the field. And then the center became pitch black, and I could see the red things going in all directions at the very edges. Hope it helps

Thanks timaselj! When the main character is killed the screen just fades out. The game's timer was getting messed up when I tried to implement a "replay" button, but I definitely should go back at some point and fix that. Thanks for playing it and I'm glad you enjoyed it
