Elder Scrolls Online - Beta Test Invitation!

Not to worry Soul, just wanted to see if anyone else is pre-ordering to play on launch - I actually just wanted to try it out for the free month and judge from there. You said you didn't get hooked? Hmmm was hoping the game would be an epic story based on ES past ... now Im sad (need to decide if I'm sad enough to pre-order the imperial or the regular version)

I honestly wasn't totally impressed by the story so far, either, but I guess that is a given considering my recent gaming past over the last few years... from lotro to swtor to the secret world it's just really really hard to amaze me with story line now. on top of that I was never really hooked on the elder scrolls lore. so someone who's a huge elder scrolls - and mmo - fan might really enjoy it.

 

the main thing TESO has that may have a reason for sati to play is really the crafting system since TOR really doesn't give me anything for my crafting heart. sigh.

You can level crafting for me on any game - its the bane of my existence lol

Might DL and FF14 again since I wiped my HD recently but fighting it as Im already over my usage for the month ... damn Canada and their BW caps

But yeah going to probably pick up ESO at least for the free 30 days then play it by ear from there, most probably will end up back on SWTOR before the free period is up =P

Got one last night. Plan to play. Characters preserved, so I'll mostly be doing pvp.

I got an invite too but not sure yet how much/if I play this week-end because the whole 'help us get a new record' stuff irked me :P

I got my beta invite too and will try it since I haven't had an invite yet.  Hopefully I'll see some Paxian's in there to keep my sad avatar company.

I got an invite this time as well!   I've been downloading the game client for about 10 hours and am only 16% complete, so I might be on this weekend or not!  Hopefully I'll see y'all on there!

on the train to work but just checked curse and I got a key will be downloading the client tonight for sure - anyone else going to be online this weekend? Server/faction/name?

I think there's only one server still, not sure about factions. last time we played... uhm.. eh.. I have no idea? but the faction with the wood elves :P

I finally finished downloading the client, so I'm ready to rock!  If there is only one server that certainly simplifies things.  If there ends up being a server choice, let me know which one y'all decide on.  I will be logging in on saturday morning EST at the earliest so I'm sure a bunch of you will be on before me.

The game is designed on a super server architecture, so there shouldn't be more than one server. However, for PVP there is a choice of campaigns so there everyone will have to make a choice of which to join.
