I had this on my shelf for about a year and never played it. I popped it in and for the first time since I stopped playing Genesis and NES I wanted to throw my controller into my TV. There doesn't seem like there is much story so far. Has anyone played through this and is it worth the high blood pressure to muscle through it? I love RPG, I like a challenge, but I also need a good story to make me want to keep going.

I haven't played it so take everything with a grain of salt, but, from what I know there isn't a spectacular story, it's really about the challenge of the game.

I actually tried to play this game, and couldn't get past the 2nd boss lol. Just impossible to play with a keyboard + mouse imo. Maybe if I had a controller I could have done it.
The game just has bad keyboard controls even after modding the game to work significantly better with them.
