I have a verizon Droid 2 pro, about 2 years old. The other night I paired it with a bluetooth headset and ever since the touch screen is unresponsive. I know its just a coincidence, or is it? The brilliant Verizon store reps turned it off and on then shrugged their shoulders. I've tried a soft reset, a hard reset, I was able to get the screen working momentarily and tried a complete factory reset and wiped all the data but still no luck. Every once in awhile the screen will respond for a few minutes then stop again. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm eligible for a free upgrade but I would have to give up my unlimited data plan and I would prefer not to do that. Does anyone know where to get good prices on non contract droid phones? I love having a QWERTY keyboard so a Droid 3 or Droid 4 or a Samsung Stratosphere would be my first choices.

All sources say my phone is dead but in a twist of good fate I went on Ebay to look at a no contract replacement and found a new, in the box, R2D2 Droid 2 for under $100 and free shipping. Yeah its 2 generations old but it has my qwerty keyboard, flash 10.1, Android gingerbread OS, and i keep my unlimited data plan. Oh did I mention it looks like R2D2?
