There aren't really any drawbacks, but if you perpetually have low disk space on your Windows drive you should pay attention to the amount it's set to. Your paging file can potentially take up all your remaining disk space and cause Windows to run funky. On most modern hard drives, that's not an issue, but on some PC's if you have overflowing video or music collections it might cause an issue for you : )
