You get more enjoyment out of anything, gaming or otherwise, when you set goals or strive for achievement. I'm always trying to get better all-around. I'll leave settling for others! I tend to improve more when I surround myself with like-minded individuals with similar goals to my own.
What are your strengths and weaknesses: In gaming? In real life?:
In gaming, my strengths are my ability to communicate well, work positively with others to achieve a goal, and ability to motivate/inspire others. I try to keep everything light-hearted. I would like to become more patient.
In real life, the biggest thing I have going for me is my positive attitude and ability to get the most out of others! Just like in gaming though, I would really like to become more patient.
What interests and activities do you enjoy spending your time on both in and out of game?:
In game, I enjoy questing(both solo and with friends), flashpoints/operations, PvP, and a bit of exploring. I play for memorable experiences. Whatever I can do in game to achieve that, I will.
Away from the computer, I am a huge sports nut. I live and die with my teams(Hurricanes/Dolphins...all the Miami sqauds). I play golf as often as I can and also coach a team. I play poker semi-seriously and am always planning my next travel destination.

How did you hear about Pax Republica?:
SWTOR Forums, trying to find a proper guild is like finding a good girlfriend...not easy!
Do you have a tendency to cuss a lot? :
No. I try to limit it, so that when I do cuss, it has added emphasis 
What are your expectations of the members and leadership of Pax Republica?:
I expect them to be like me. If not, I'm clearly in the wrong place! I very much expect a guild of doers and people who value their reputation. I want to be in a guild that when some sees 'Pax Republica' under my name, they instantly know what I am about and that I can be counted on as a great member of the Twin Spears community.
What do you believe you can contribute to Pax Republica's community?:
I believe I can add to, uphold, and expand on the guild's positive reputation.
What was it about Pax Republica that encouraged you to sign up with us, rather than with another guild?:
Above all else, the first thing I look for in a guild is that members are positive people who are articulate and well spoken. Once I see that, I look to see if the guild's core values match my own. Lastly, I look to see how close and tight-knit the members are.
How do you deal with stress both in and out of game.:
Pounding golf balls, taking my stress out on my students by having them do extra running/exercises in class . I deal with stress very well nowadays and can usually shrug most things off.
A non-guild member approaches you in game and begins talking smack to you. How do you react?::
I usually don't respond unless it's good-natured smack. It's fun trading jabs once in a while as long as you keep it smart and witty.
You're in Ventrilo playing with other members but one member is being annoying, making silly noises and being obnoxious...what do you do? :
Kindly ask that he/she tone down on the silliness. Then suggest that said person took one too many of their happy pills that morning.

Thanks guys. RE: my weaknesses other than patience. I suppose you can ask my soon to be ex-wife and she'll have no trouble giving you a laundry list. I speak my mind all the time, which can get me in trouble and occasionally causes some feelings to be hurt.
As far as in-game though, I sometimes get tunnel-vision in PvP and panic a bit in very chaotic situations.
I teach physical education.

Welcome to your trial process for Pax Republica! Let’s get started.
During this trial you will have 7 days, starting 01/01/2012 and ending 01/08/2012, to complete seven tasks as part of Trial Phase 1.
Trial Phase 2 will consist of another 7 days.
Trial Phase 3 is the voting phase that will last for 3 days. During this phase members can cast their vote on whether you pass or fail.
Caution: If you do not log on to the forums and post within 48 hours of starting your trial you will automatically fail.
(If you need your Trial to be extended a couple of days due to a trip, or a serious emergency, etc., please contact an Admin and be sure to let them know when you'll be back.)
As you undergo these tasks, you will not only complete the steps necessary to become a fully functioning member of Pax, you'll also learn if Pax is the guild you actually want to join.
At the end of this trial your application will be re-evaluated for the final decision. Do not hesitate to send me a private message, email, or Skype message with any questions or concerns. Here are your tasks:

1. You must update your profile here at Pax Republica with a forum Avatar. Complete √
2. You must make an introductory post in your specified class forum provided below.
Trooper Barracks - Smuggler Cantina - Consular Library - Knight Praxeum Complete √
3. Declare your class and your advanced class in the Guild Roster. Complete √
4. You must contact either the Consul, an Arbiter, or an Envoy (preferably your Class Leader) and give them the necessary info for creating your Ventrilo account. PM them with your desired name and password.

(Note: Please keep your Ventrilo name the same as your Forum name.) Complete √
5. Go over our Charter (our Rules and Regulations document) and be sure to post that you accept it. Please read it carefully BEFORE accepting.

6. Log on to SWTOR and whisper your Class Leader with your in-game name so we can add you to the guild.

Just popping in to give an update on phase 2.
8. I have logged into to Ventrilo often over the past week.
9. I have spoken with Cloud, Marvel, Konta, Rebmac, Landscaper(I believe it was him).
10. I have probably played ~15 warzones with Pax this week. I've enjoyed this thoroughly as this is the best time to get to know fellow members!
I always enjoy speaking with members for the first time so if you see me on Vent just say hello .
