Biowares Next game WILL be a Command and Conquer game

So was looking around IGN when i spoted something interesting heres the link,looks like Bioware will be doing a Command and Conquer game,and its being revealed this Saturday at the Spike Video Games Award.

Sweet! That'll be legit. I know they're also going to premiere the opening cinematic for Diablo 3 on the awards show. I hope it doesn't suck. I'm afraid the cinematics might be the best part about D3. :genuine disappointment face:

Awesome, C&C was one of the first few PC games I played. I enjoyed the franchise up to C&C: Generals. After that I just ignored it. If any developer can drag me back to this franchise its Bioware.

By the looks of the vid they posted up,it looks like a General 2,by the looks of it, don't quote me on that

I wasted so many hours in Red Alert and the original, this is interesting. Thanks for sharing that, I had no clue. I have a feeling TOR will be my life pretty soon though, so I'm not sure when I'd have time to play such a game : P

They Just Conferemed in the VGA that its CnC Generals 2 with the Frostbite 2 engine,the same one used the Battlefield 3

I never played CnC Generals for whatever reason. I guess I just lost interest with all the Tiberium games or whatever. It's a great franchise and I enjoyed Red Alert etc....so I hope they do a great job.

in my opinion bioware should just be like blizzard and focus on SWTOR (they would make far more assets pleasing us MMO nerds who played WoW since Vanilla)

They have different studio doing it... it is like saying that Blizz should focus on WoW and never make Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3:P

but I agree with that statement blizz shouldn't be doing starcraft 2 or diablo3 :P

I actually wish it was either Red Alert or a version of Tiberium wars between Nod and GDI. I wasn't particularly all that happy with the story in Generals involving terrorists and all that.

With that said I did play Generals a lot, so I can't complain too much. Plus the video looked awesome and I'm excited to play a C&C game after so many years.
