re: Your favorite moment(s) from the Star Wars movies?

What is/are your favorite scenes/battles/moments from the Star Wars movies, and why?

It's so tough to choose one. I'm going to have to go with the final scene, in which Luke throws his lightsaber, and says "No, you've failed your highness. I am a Jedi, like my Father before me." Amazing goosebumps every time, as we see what a true Jedi is, and the love of a son to his father wins over rage and fear.

I also love hearing Yoda's montra: "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."

EDIT (addition): My favorite action moment though has to be the Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul duel, particularly the part that is 8-10 seconds of this video, where Obi-Wan blocks attacks behind his back and then in front.

I'm also a huge nerd for the big space battles and dog fights of Episode IV and VI... it's honestly those parts that made me want to be in the Air Force as a kid!

I am torn between 2.

I LOVE mace windu's quotes, so I'm very fond of him going to geonosis and saying:

"This party's over." Ohhhh man that's so cool lol.

But I have to say when he goes to arrest the chancellor it makes me want to jump in the screen and help him. See I'm currently in the Police Academy, and Jedi are very much like police officers, so when Mace says:

"You are under arrest Chancellor." I end up having a man crush on him.

I love Salicious Crumb's laugh.

R2-D2 the most under-appreciated droid ever.

I just remember in theaters, when Obi Wan and Anakin are fighting Dooku on Geonosis, when Yoda walked out everyone in the whole theater was like "OOOOOOOHHHHH DAMN!" Then, if that wasn't exciting enough, Dooku challenged him to a lightsaber battle and for the first time we all got the answer to our question, does Yoda carry a lightsaber??? It was the most excited I have felt while watching Star Wars and potentially one of the most exciting moments I've seen in a movie before lol.

It has to be the full link.
Don't put the one where it says share. Use the url on top.

Of all the Siths I was impressed with Darth Maul the most when I was a kid.

Any scene with Han Solo...but my favorite would have to be the episode IV deathstar escape scene where he makes the classic charge into the room full of stormtroopers...that is the scene and character that got me into star wars in the first place a long time ago in a glaxy far far away...

Space battles! Stormtroopers! Clone Troopers!Jedi Knights! (kinda) Wampa! Rancor! AT-AT! Droids! Scoundrels! Aliens! Giant Space worms! Planets! Boarding Action! Rebels! Princesses! Shiny things! Not-so-shiny-things! These are the things I love the most about Star Wars.

But instead of showing you the whole movie, take this reasonably long youtube video of space battles! (Oldschool, how it was meant to be)

Oh, and Lando.
Forum Image
Han Solo: Chewie, give me the gun! Don't move, Lando!
Lando Calrissian: No, wait! I thought you were blind!
Han Solo: It's alright, I can see a lot better! Don't move!
Lando Calrissian: Up a little higher! Just a little higher!
