re: Call of Duty Anyone?

So I finally caved in and bought the new Call of Duty, mostly because that is what all my irl friends play. This is my first call of duty in at least 4 years!

If any of you have it on xbox, add me! Gamertag: BTown86

Won't touch anything made by activision with a 12 foot pole. Even if it looked like Halle Berry. Bit of light reading for those not in the know of just how evil Activision really is.

Yikes!

I played the game for about 30 minutes and I already feel ripped off! Can not believe I just bought a game that is a cut and copy of last years.

Hopefully I will be able to return it!

Wow interesting read.. I definitely feel dirty buying MW3.. But I'm also hoping competition picks up for the game where black ops failed, but we shall see..

re: Call of Duty Anyone?

I've always loved this franchise, I just think the gameplay is more fun than Battlefield for the type of shooters I enjoy...but there's been very little different about the game other than cosmetics since World at War...we're at what now the 4th or 5th version since then? That is kind of sad.

Also kind of sad how much money they extorted out of us for DLC, and most of us ate it up anyway, including myself. I've been thinking lately that just on principle I'll stop playing them since their philosophy of jacking the prices for the sake of seeing what we'll pay for is utterly dickish.

*sigh* I know I'll end up buying it, even though I prefer Halo and Battlefield. I have tons of fanboy friends who have no taste. The simpletons. So, Ill get it, but probably after Halo Anniversary, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3 and.... well eventually I'll get to it.

Edit: Did I mention AC: Revelations?

Wow Sticx i knew Activision was bad but no where near how bad they actually are. That's just pathetic how they treat there staff.

I for one will not be buying CoD. Don't like the series and probably never will.

My favorite quote from that whole write up.

re: Call of Duty Anyone?

I think I will end up keeping this game. A lot of my friends play it, so its a good way for me to connect with them, since most of them live out of state.

Its is kind of fun too, as long as your not getting you butt handed to you 24/7.

See you guys in game!

re: Call of Duty Anyone?

I completely understand why people hate Activision but what's wrong with the Cod series, especially MW3? While they aren't the best games I have ever played I have been just as dedicated to this series as I have to Halo, Mass Effect, and Fable.
