Kirrex and Namluck starting LOTRO

To get in the MMO spirit, Namluck and I are starting new characters on the Windfola server on LOTRO. If anyone would like to join us, we'd be more than happy to level up with you.

We did try lotro as a guild a while back, think we were on Nimrodel. I thought it was alright but wasn't a sticker, think I'd find it difficult to get back into it.

It's pretty decent. You have pretty much all the features available to you, but you have to unlock them by spending points, which you can earn by completing deeds. I leveled one character to 33 without seeing any major drawbacks to free-to-play, other than not being able to trade money. After you get to that point they start having most of the questing areas require quest packs, but it is still possible to level all the way up without spending anything.
