"In The Dark" PBP

[Atka Talin]

Atka law slumped against the wall. Smoke curled up from what was left of his left arm, and with it came an unsavory smell. The wall where he hit had crumbled with the force of his impact, not improving his physical condition, nor the wall's. Cracks ran up behind him like a spider's web.

As the building came apart, Atka fell off into a deep, dreamless sleep. His chin was tucked down, his eyes were closed, and he hugged his wound to his chest. He was at peace with himself, it seemed. As his heavily strained body slowly began to shut itself down, his timer in his helmet blinked on. Nobody was there to see it, but it did not stop it. It dutifully flashed a warning sign as the timer's number got smaller.

In the shadow of the buildings, where the street lights barely hit, a humming of a saber could be heard, as a Togruta man ran towards the remains of the recent melee.

[Ysme]

"30 seconds"

[Tharsus]

"30 seconds"

Still in full sprint Tharsus taps communicator earpiece with a tip of his index finger...

"I'm out and on the way!"

[Dukha]

"30 seconds"

Ysmes voice, slightly distorted by static over the holo link.

Pulling herself together, Sharra takes a final look around and decides on an exit strategy.

She turns, begins to move swiftly away from the fallen warrior but stops next to the mandalorian blade driven deep into the pavement. She turns her head, taking one last look at him, realizing that that laughter of his will be hard to shake of.

A movement catches her attention and for a brief moment the flash of a lightsaber can be seen. Sharras face is suddenly twisted by a malicous sneer.

Jedi.

She turns away, for good this time and disappears between the buildings from which she first emerged.

[Kbrury]

Dodging the raining rubble Seiryuu made his way to Atka as the Sith Woman ran off into the shadows.

"Let's get out of here Atka before more trouble shows up" The explosions overhead started to get more fierce sending more and more rubble flying.

The large Crowd surrounding the Apartment entrance had already dispersed due to the explosions allowing Seiryuu and Atka to navigate into the main street.

Turning his comlink on "Get to safety everyone the whole apartment might come down, meet up at the nearest Starport we need to rendezvous with our superiors asap."

[Kryad Explo]

Kryad woke up and only got the last of the message.

"Zabac... wake up you smuggler, we need to get away." Kryad said while trying to get on his legs.

[Ysme]

A secondary explosion sends a thick ball of fire and smoke out of the side alley of the apart. Broken swoops bikes flipped through the air and bounced off the buildings walls.

Ysme studied her scanner/ commlink bracer. Checking she had at least 3 other dots heading back towards the ship. She doubted if any of the snatch team other than the Sith and her pet had survived. Although the loss of the Sith and her pet would be ultimately inconsequential, their safe arrival back at the ship would save her some inconvenience.

She lowered her swoop bike to a stand still just next to the Ship.
Dismounting smartly she walked up the ramp and into the ship issuing orders into her commlink as she went.

It was time they left this cesspool of scum and continued in there mission.

[Tharsus]

Tharsus quickly runned toward one of the parked swoops and kicked the ignition.

"Right on time!"

He pushed acceleration and quickly rided swoopbike down the alley heading toward the spacedock.

"Zabac... wake up you smuggler, we need to get away." Kryad said while trying to get on his legs.


Zabac opened his eyes but this rubble is so comfy groaning Zabac got to his feet I guess i'll have nap later lead me to the rendezvous point

[Kbrury]

The battles were finally over as the Sun began to rise over the smoking apartment building. Seiryuu and Atka had made thier way to the Starport to meet up with the rest of team. But while they were still waiting Seiryuu went ahead and sent Atka to the clinic to get his arm treated.

Using the free time he had for the moment Seiryuu records his report for the commanding officer.

"We had lost the girl known as Vixi but at least they don't have her either...we think. We were caught in a desperate situation and didn't have much to work with. The men did thier best and I'm relieved everyone was able to make it out alive.

The people we were fighting didn't look to be directly associated with the Empire but they were powerful users of the Dark Side. Whatever Vixi has seems to have everyone after her, so I believe that future involvement is necessary. If we cannot obtain it we musn't allow anyone else to either, so I am requesting that I be allowed to continue on with this mission."
