"Predoria" group III Kbrury, Dustin, Finx

You are flying towards the ground at a high velocity, looking through the window you can see other rescue pods flying towards the planet's surfance. Some are flying more and others less away from your pod and you notice not all of them are from your corvette. From what you can see, your capsule is going to hit a big island, the surface is covered mostly with jungle. You can see a wide river is going through it and reaches some huge water reservoir, be it sea or a giant lake. To the north-east you can see some tall mountains, with snow capes on top. You are getting closer and closer to the ground, the landing engines have lowered your velocity, your probably going to land on that large beach on the southern end of the island.

- Get ready for landing! - one of the troopers says.

You land rather smoothly... now you will have to find a way to survive on this planet till the rescue will arive... cause they will arive, right?

Seiryuu stretched out his hand towards the top of the pod, still dazed from the landing he proceeded to pull himself out onto the beach. The sun was at it's peak as the other survivors were also slowly getting out of the pod.

Looking back someone familiar began to emerge, he went by the name of Finx a rather shady fellow who was assigned to the ship."I'll have to keep an eye on him" Seiryuu thought to himself."

"Over here!" yelled an Officer, "Some of the crew sustained injuries and most of the pod's medical equipment was damaged on impact. "We need to salvage what we can and get everyone out of the sun."

"Yes Sir!" Seiryuu replied, walking back to the pod he saw Damek Critou, a Mon Calamari Smuggler who he had worked with in a recent mission. "Hey Damek, you ok?" Seiryuu called out.

[Damek Critou]

The glaring sun was not helping Damek's recent headache in any way. Sure, the landing was pretty smooth, but he still had the misfortune of hitting his head on the bulkhead trying to dizzily walk out, which resulted in instant, intense throbbing. He saw a lot of people running about, leaving tracks in the sand that were quickly obliterated by the incessant roll of waves on this... sea? Lake? Whatever it was, he had bigger concerns. He heard a voice he vaguely recognized directed at him, and turned to see none other than Seiryuu, an old group member of a mission past. "Yes, just a little bump, nothing to worry about. I need to get out the sun however, my skin is drying up." he replied to the Jedi's query, in his own form of humor. He set about dragging things up onto solid ground, the sand hindering his progress. But with the strain of hard work came the ending of most of his pain, thankfully.

Xorian shook his head and then wished he hadn't as he was hit by a throbbing headache. "Ah, kriff." he moaned. He was never a fan of space drops, but it didn't help he had hit his head when climbing into the pod. He slowly got up, and then his hand instantly went to the locket around his neck. He sighed with relief, and then checked his pistol and bag of demo supplies. Everything was still there. He slowly climbed out of the pod and squinted at the sunlight. He looked around, trying to get his bearings.

[Finx!]

As Finx approached behind Seiryuu he noticed his wet and warm leg. A trans-structure rod of the pod that broke off and got logged into the meat of Finx's right leg was annoying him. Finx looked away from the gash and as he pulled out the rod in a slow tug he slid out a shiny flask from his inside vest pocket and took a swig of spice whiskey from it. "Smooth landing" he said then proceeded to pour some onto the wound. After one last swig he gazed at the snow capped mountains. Finx's custom made blaster was still in his side holster. The sweet touch of his fingers on the barrel confirmed that he was not separated from his blaster he named "Baby". "Lets get moving."

As the group was getting prepared Seiryuu noticed one of Pax's newest recruits gathering himself on the beach. "Ah kriff" The young Smuggler moaned. "Hey there Xorian, looks like you'll be alright." Seiryuu said to the boy.

"Come help use gather the last of the equipment.

The group salvaged what they could out of the ship and helped move everyone to the edge of the forest out of the sun. A couple of the troopers were badly injured in the crash and wouldn't be able to move anytime soon.

"Ok Damek, Finx, Xorian us four will go scout the area and see if we can make contact with the others at higher ground. The Sith pod didn't land too far from here so keep your eyes out for them. Let's head out."

[XorianDarkhunter]

Xorian grabbed his bag from where he had placed it to help move supplies, and hitched it on his shoulder. "Roger that Seiryuu." He was hot and sweaty from moving the equipment and was hoping that they would scout from the woods, more for the shade than the stealth. "And if we happen to run across that sith pod, I have a little present I'm sure will have them "exploding" with excitement." He laughed and shrugged his shoulder to indicate his bag.

[Finx!]

Finx followed behind Damek, Xorian, and Seiryuu across the forest edge looking for a break in the thick foliage. There was something else following that swam up from the depths of the water...making long ripples just under the water surface back by the beach. "I'm glad to be out of that tin can!"
The unwelcomed sea creature was several yards away then broke the water's surface and raised a small telescopic eye toward the 4 team members.

The group continued to walk through the forest as communication with the others was still not working. "We only have an hour before nightfall guys lets get ready to head back." Seiryuu said to the team.

As the team neared the Crew's temporary camp they could hear some voices in the distance. Getting closer to the camp the group could now see the commotion...the Sith.

The rest of the crew had been taken captive, "Damn it" Seiryuu muttered. Now the Sith were moving the hostages away, "All we can do guys is follow them and wait for an opportunity."

[XorianDarkhunter]

Xorian shook his head and sighed. "I hate waiting.... He mumbled. He looked at the Sith and then at Seiryuu."Why are we going to wait? We are just going to let those damn Sithheads take our team? Who knows what they will do to them? Besides, we can take them. He cocked a grin that was crooked from the scar on his cheek. "I think I even have something that could serve as a distraction." His eyes glinted at the chance to have some fun with his IEDs.

[Finx!]

"Easy there Xorian...Seiryuu has a point. We don't know how many of these gorian eaters there are yet" Finx said as he chewed on his trademark toothpick. Finx then gave a nod to Xorian, Seiryuu, and Damek to look far to the left where silence gave way to disturbed birds flying away from trees. Then the trees produced a returning sith scout heading to rendezvous with the other sith we were following.

[Damek Critou]

"You think he saw us coming?" He didnt need an answer as the said scout almost comically fell over a tree root, and as he scrambled back up glanced quickly at them. Well, it appeared that way, but no one could be sure as he had a helmet on. But it was enough for Damek, who promptly whipped his blaster out, and fired.

Normally, the shot would have been very loud, but Damek had made some special modifications to this particular blaster, and the most anyone could hear was the faint zip and then clank-like sounds of the plasma bolt racing out of the barrel near the speed of the light and then striking the Sith's armor, respectively. He proceeded to fall over another tree root, a good sized chunk having been blown out of his armor.

He wasn't dead, the bolt never actually struck him, but the concussive force of the impact on the armor would have done some nasty internal injuries. Damek quickly ran up to him and ripped the helmet off, in an attempt to keep him from yelling for help over the communications channels. To his surprise, as well as the entire groups', the Sith scout below them, ripe with terror, was nothing but a veritable kid(really a teen), his helmet missing a good 99% of electronics it should have had.

"Tie him up." Seiryuu said to the team, "There are probably more scouts out there, let's get to safe location and see if we can find out where the others are."

The team moved along the river to get rid of their tracks and could see a rather large lake in the distance. Stopping at a small gathering of rocks the team was ready to get some information. The young boy looked nervous and appeared as if it was his first day in the service. "So who wants to do the interrogation?" Seiryuu asked the team.

[Finx!]

Finx stood up, walked over to the freshly awake kid, blew smoke into his face, then punched him square in the nose knocking him unconscious again. The others looked on in either amusement or curiosity. Then Finx reached for the boy's left clinched fist revealing a small tubelike device with a blinking red light at the tip. Finx noticed the several twitches of the boy's thumb as soon as he was waking up. Finx then proceeded to check his pistol to make sure it was fully loaded.

[Damek Critou]

Damek laughed, Relax, Finx! I know this device. Damek proceeded to take the blinking tube, and then snap it half, only to have large amounts of water fall onto the moss covered rocks. A canteen modeled into a thermal detonator. They're quite popular, especially in the Core. I don't know why people like them, its just depressing to me. Damek then turned to the small human teen, just as he was regaining full consciousness.

Boy, I want to know what you were doing in such a cheap model of Sith armor, pretending to be a soldier! For good measure, he stared at the kid, only to have one eye wander around the other companions while the other was still fixed on him. It generally freaked out humans. Hopefully, this time was no exception.
