Silent war between the Republic and the Sith Empire rages on, the further from the sacking of Coruscant the more vicious it gets, turning almost into an open conflict. Pax Republic thanks to many successful missions, such as an attack on a Sith temple or destroying plans of an ancient super weapon on Alderaan, is leaving mark on galactic history. They are taking casualties, but the fame they are gaining brings more and more people to their cause. They are carrying out many important for Republic safety secret missions.
At the moment part of Pax is making it`s way to Nar Shaddaa under direct orders from senate, to destroy a Sith facility that was placed there, which is conducting experiments on way to control behavior of diferent species. But while they were on their way there, it occures that one of their jumping points was occupied by a Sith cruiser, thanks to highest grade of skills the crew of Pax Corellian corvette gave the Sith a hell of a fight, but in the end the ship was in critical condition, there was internal failure and live support was shutting down, as everyone was making their way to rescue pods an explosion shook the ship, the generator was overcharging.
The crew quickly evacuated right after shooting the S.O.S buoy, the ship then exploded. The Sith ship was in no better position, they were also escaping their ship in rescue pods and headed for the closest planet, same as you...
