Iceroid Return from Veteran

So here I am 2 months later. Life has settled down and I've "negotiated" with my wife to have Thursday nights as my own personal game night, along with an hour here or there on other nights, so I shall be returning to the great game that is SWTOR. So now I would like to return from Veteran status!

YAY! Just in time for 12x XP! You have been missed and I'm glad you get to be back in game, but not at the expense of real life relationships! Thats teh bestest!

Alright! Now we just have to move that Thursday night raid time moved back, and I will have to renegotiate with my wife to get that night free .

Yay!  Iceroid!!  While you were gone I wrote many things in wrong chat windows and you were missing it!

 

Personally, I also prefer the later raid time and since we haven't been getting many sign-ups for it, I think we should change it to 9.

I was just suggesting we move the earlier raid time to Tuesday, and switch the later time to Thursday so that we could kill stuff with Ice.  I would also be OK with doing 3 hours on whichever night, going until 12, instead of the 2 we have been doing, but I would understand if everybody else thought that was bad.

I'd likely be available for 9p thurs raids, assuming my work travel lightens up soon. Or someone buys me a sweet gaming laptop that doesn't choke on swtor like my current one.

Yeah, that sweet gaming laptop... I'm busy tearing mine apart trying to figure out what is going on, every time I think I've got it figured out... it powers off again for no apparent reason.

Complete √ 1. Update your profile here at Pax Republica with a forum Avatar. ***NOTE***- Your avatar cannot be one of the generic default avatars that GuildLaunch gives you. It should be something unique so that it's easier to associate your name with some kind of image, this allows us to get to know you better.

Complete √ 2. Make a re-introductory post in your specified class forum provided below. Please use it as a chance to introduce yourself to the family, as this is a more permanent area for people to get to know you (your own "personal area" on the forums, if you will) than your application thread.

Complete √ 3. Either your Guild Launch user name should be your "main" character name in SWTOR, or you should link your main character to your GL account. Here's how to do the latter:

•  Go to User Profile (Your name) at the top right of the forums.

•  Under Characters tab, go to Add Character, make sure you choose ToR for your game and The Galactic Republic as your faction. Create the name as your main character's name in SWTOR!

•  Now that your character has been created, go to the Sites tab under User Profile.

•  Under Forum Posting As Settings select your character and click Set Character to Post As.

•  Finished!

Complete √ 4. Go over our Charter (our Rules and Regulations document) and be sure to post that you accept it. Please read it carefully BEFORE accepting. Click here.

Welcome back, Ice!  Glad to hear things have settled down a bit.  Veteran app a go go!

Yes, please reintroduce yourself to us Ice, we have added Tiffs since you have been gone and I think some of us may have forgotten you over the course of the last month .  Is there no flexibility in how we apply these rules? Ice has been gone less time than some LOAs.

I'm missing the part where I'm raking him over the coals with tough requirements to get back in?  one simple reintroductory because his original intro was back in November 2013 and it would be nice to know whats knew with him, if anything.  

He can also cheat a little bit and bump his original reintroductory with a few updates, but honestly I don't see how it's unfair to ask for a re-introductory since Veteran "homecoming" is literally the easiest invite back into the guild/game.

I'm sorry if I offended you soul, I just think it is a little silly is all.  You are right though, it isn't a difficult process.  To me, though, it doesn't seem particularly necessary in this case.  That is all I was trying to say.
