re: LOTRO

Hmmm.. anyone know how to check what chars you have??

I can't find any.. My account was from 2007, and I'm a few expansion packs behind.

Wonder if it would even be worth upgrading the packs or not..

If you go to http://my.lotro.com/home/profile/
you should see a list of all your characters on all servers. Oh, and they changed the log in, you use your forum name, like tor does now.

re: LOTRO

I logged on Brandywine to check and I have a few toons from levels 1-31 or so, but I didn't do much other than log on my mini. Ya, combat is sort of boring compared to swtor, but I forgot how much I love the FM's in groups. My mini's name is Ryssin and I'll be playing him every so often for a bit.

re: LOTRO

I actually never felt the combat was boring in lotro, it's just slower. but then again the first game I 'really' played was FFXI and you can go afk in combat in that game... LOL (so I'd say lotro is somehwere between ffxi and swtor ;D)

re: LOTRO

Ya, perhaps boring was the wrong word. Slower is better. Though I do love group combat in lotro.

re: LOTRO

So people are in full flow on LOTRO now? I had thought everyone's urge went by the wayside. I'm just finishing gearing up another toon in WoW but once I get him up to the next tier I will get Lotro installing again

re: LOTRO

hm. I don't think anyone's 'fully' in lotro now. I've been doing some fishing and crafting the last couple of days and stuff and randomly people join in, though. I think lotro is just nice to have in case there's someone around who feels like playing :D

re: LOTRO

Ya, no one is fully into it :P It's a nice, free side game to explore. Perhaps the new expansion that allows us to do Helm's Deep may get even more interest in it, but that depends how much money you'll have to spend to do the helm's deep content.

re: LOTRO

I suppose I'm the only one who still plays this?

I have the game installed again. I will probably play next week when I have a long week-end :)

re: LOTRO

I have it installed, but I only play once every few months to just explore.  I have been too busy to play SWTOR, let alone other MMOs!  I do hope to play my Guardian (who is curently like level 70 or something) through all the story content, he's currently making his way into Rohan.
