standby.  When I downloaded this, the zipped file was empty except for a read me.  Maybe it's broken.  I'll have to ask Spluusn who suggested it in GroupMe POT5 chat.

It isn't he can't post on the TOR forums anymore so the readme points you to where you can download the latest version

I think what is meant is the author of swtor unleashed is no longer a subscriber and has no posting access because of that. prefered player can't use the forum.

re: SWTOR Unleashed: supposedly improves performance

This is just a ramdisk. It makes a little pretend hard drive in your RAM and puts the SWTOR active files on it, so it's super fast. If you are having trouble running the game AND have quite a bit of RAM, it can save disk I/O and CPU time and make the game a bit more playable for you. If you have an SSD or a very adequate computer, improvements are negligible. Does not drastically reduce load times due to the network component of SWTOR loads.

If your laptop has lots of RAM (8GBish), it'd be WONDERFUL for a laptop since those usually have 5400rpm (slow) hard drives.

yup!  just remember something:  If you use this, and it creates a pretend harddrive that uses up RAM for SWTOR, that means while playing SWTOR, don't try to be a power use and alt+tab to open up youtube videos or anything... you won't have much RAM resources anymore to do it!

well that really depends, I just ordered me 16gb of DDR2 for this rig, namely because once its retired and I'm back to the awesome land of I5 this will serve as a file/DHCP/Domain server
