Hey all, just curious if any of you have any experience with the Turtle Beach line of gaming headsets, in particular for PC.
I told my fiance that I wanted a new headset to replace my current one, which would replace my desktop speakers all together and these seemed intriguing, even at the larger price point.
If you have a different headset that you love, please recommend it as well!

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I have owned Plantronics Bluetooth devices in the past and have had good luck with them.

I have a Gamecom and it was nowhere near the quality of my Turtle Beach that broke after about two years of use. I would honestly recommend not picking up one of those.

That Logitech looks quite amazing, and well under the price that I showed my fiance so that looks like a winner. Still looking for my current headset, stupid moving, haha.

Logitech headsets can be very prone to problems and shoddy craftsmanship. Some pair are totally fine, while others are horrid. Something to do with their quality control. Can't believe you hated your gamecon 777. I loved that headset, used it for almost 2 years till my dog ate it. Was so ungodly comfortable compared to my Turtle beach headsets, and the sound was great.

I really like the Triton headsets. They work really well, and I have a pair for Xbox that works for PC and it has good sound quality.

I have the logitech headset shown above, and it's quite nice. The voice changer makes it really cool. I had the choice between that and a turtle beach, but I just chose the Logitech headset.

I have the X11 Headset from Turtle Beach, and I really like it a lot. It has great sound. Little on the heavy side, but I'm used to it because we had something very similar that we used while driving around in Iraq for our comms system.
