Jedi Knight Nwahs Nirom's Inaugural Address

Hello fellow Knights! I just want to take a second to express my excitement for the position of Class Leader and how I plan to make your Jedi Knight experience as awesome as possible. This is a position I've been aspiring toward and working toward for a long time. I will bring all my leadership, mentorship, enthusiasm and motivation to this role.

This is one of my main tenets of how I will approach this position. My job is to simply serve you guys. Anything you need or want, bring it up to me and I will do what I can to make it happen. If you need someone to vent your real life problems to, I'm a new avenue for you to do so, if you feel comfortable.

We'll continue to do the weekly discussions, and I love how we're all taking turns thinking up things to talk about, so let's try to keep that going. If I see no new topic by Tuesday or Wednesday I'll throw a question out to everyone.

We'll also have a healthy dose of Jedi Knight competitions, mostly for fun, playing Flash games and anything else you all can think of.

When the game releases, I doubt I'll be the first person to reach the cap, but you can be damn sure I'm going to know the Jedi Guardian class inside and out. I'll also learn as much as I can about the Jedi Sentinel class, but I imagine I'll assign one or two Jedi Sentinels as my assistant(s). I also have a lot of practice to do for PvP, I'll admit that right now, but I will train to be a great PvP'er, and I'll look to learn all I can from you, and we'll all teach each other how to play the best we can in all facets of the game.

Also, I am always looking to improve my people and leadership skills, especially since I may still end up as an officer in the Air Force, so don't be surprised to see periodic PM's from me soliciting feedback on how I'm doing and what you'd like to see done differently.

I may not be a Knight(though I'm definitely making an alt Knight), but I look forward to seeing what you get going around here. I really can't think of a better man for the job, you Knights are lucky to get such a good leader. Here's hoping we Smugglers get an equally good leader. Cheers!

Welcome to the job, and congratulations on the appointment : ) We'll go easy on you, don't worry!

I think you have a great approach toward leadership so far, and I'm excited to work with you once the game comes out.

I'm an old, old, old school PVPer, in MMO terms, and would be happy to help either in game or beforehand if you have any questions or want to talk strategies.

Really, all these games take a life of their own and until we start actually fighting opponents in game some of the dynamics will be hard to plan for - but other PVP concepts remain the same across the board, and we can definitely discuss them without the context of specific class abilities.

And as far as my Deputy, I see no real need for one at this moment, I'm not going to have one just for the sake of having one. When the need for one arises, most likely closer to launch, I'll hold applications.
