I propose we switch guild meeting dates to Oct/Dec

Talking in vent about meetings, and hearing that our current meeting track is November then January then March and so on.

I wanna propose we switch that to October December....I am suggesting this because I feel as though the guild meeting in December we can all get on the same page make any touch ups and really just anything we wanna discuss/suggest right before the game launches.

I also wanna propose that after the game launches we get meetings once a month.

Hmmm. We could hold the November guild meeting at the end of the month and the January meeting at the beginning instead of rescheduling everything. Good alternative?

Besides that, Bioware hasn’t given information on early access so we’re not sure when our members will be getting in-game that month. If it’s anything similar to BF3 it could be a few days early access, still not sure if December will is the best month to get everything setup. We want to finish the final preparations at least a month before release.

We’ll also most likely end up keeping the meetings bimonthly since we’ll all be concentrating on tor.

I like Clouds idea too, but im not sure on every other month guild meetings.....it seems kinda far apart but I guess its worked fine so far

Once a month in our opinion in administration is a bit much for the reasons of;

Every day we expect a traffic flow of at least 50% of our members (50 people) logging into ventrilo. On our forums we have at least 80% per day logging on (80 people a day consecutively, this is really, really rare in guilds apparently, so good job people).

Every member has the ability to start up a thread (like this one!) where they propose changes, ideas, or put forth concerns. The problem with a monthly meeting is that it really may encourage people to "hold it in" until that day, rather than get it out in between meetings.

We will be in game on a constant basis, so communication will be constant.

For those reasons we decided that bimonthly is best, to allow people to take a more active approach to contacting us and getting their ideas out their, while not forcing our hands as administrators to pull concepts out of our rears just to have an "itinerary" to discuss. :P If you get what I'm saying.

Though as Cloud said, I am in no way against shuffling them around. And this is in no way set in stone, so just because we're trying a bimonthly approach does not mean it will always be stuck this way. We will see how it goes!

Probably means December lol, and we will likely do that. But we've yet to set anything in stone.

I like Cloud's proposal, and the idea of bi-monthly meetings in general, simply because we're going to have high activity expected of us anyway, as Gai pointed out, and I think once TOR is released our communicating will be a little easier with us seeing each other practically every day in-game.

And yes, our forums are awesome in terms of activity, Pax really does rule!
