Here's another one, for anyone having a hard time seeing through the cloud cover : )

Graywash
By Anthony C. Volpe
Sprinkle always quietly in the softest shades of gray,
A gentle torrent of monotony to wash away today,
A perfect curtain of cloudiness strewn across my day,
A beauty concealed in silver linings to shine upon my way.
I watched a brush tread ‘cross the sky,
This morning when I rose,
And leave a silky, swath of bleakness,
Where I saw the brushstrokes flow,
In the most perplexing, ever vexing way,
It called out unto my heart,
Showing me the heavens felt my pain,
With a timeless work of art.
Sprinkle always gently with the calmest, milky whites,
Across the stark canvas of afternoon as it turns into a night,
Answer back unto my call, Trail your beauty through my sight,
While I imagine, just on your other side, an eternity of light.
I watched a pencil, sketching slow,
Across a weary cloud,
Shading it into a thunderhead,
Soaring powerful and proud,
Draw me next, stoic yet hopeful,
As I look up toward heaven’s grace
And carve within infinity,
This humble poet’s place.
Sprinkle now, ever softly in the foggy hues of the eve,
And remind a jaded traveler of his reasons to believe,
Your calming rain caresses my heart, and all that I perceive,
Until the moment I drift off to sleep, and my duties are relieved.
Gray, wash me away with you,
Carry me to a brand new day,
And paint me in a better light,
As I fall to my knees and pray,
For an answer, rendered colorless,
Flawlessly drafted in my mind,
That I know will be revealed to me,
Should I allow you proper time.
Sprinkle now, within my heart, and over all that I can see,
Remind me of what is today, and of what may come to be,
Hidden within your dreary robes, and their endless silver sea,
Rest a reason, and a noble purpose, envisioned just for me.
