This things is balls to the wall awesome and is a must have for any star wars fan with chrome (BEWARE OF SPOILERS).
Here are the basics:
- The extension allows you to choose light side or dark side which is part of their social media campaign
- On google maps navigation(on your phone) instead of a car you will have an x-wing or maybe a tie fighter if you choose dark side.
- On google maps on your computer, your street view guy will be a rebel pilot (or stormtrooper for dark side)
- A game called lightsaber escape with your computer being the screen and your phone will act as your lightsaber (SUPER COOL)
- g-mail loading bar is now a lightsaber and the background of gmail will be an x-wing crashed on jakku
- Google calendar is updated with star wars events
- every time you open a new tab, you get a picture from episode (AGAIN ONLY GET IT IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE)
- If you have chromecast connected to your gmail account, the screensaver will be images from episode 7 (AGAIN ONLY GET IT IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE)
- On youtube, the bar that shows how much of the video you have watched is a lightsaber that keeps getting longer and the volume slider is a lightsaber

- There is a game which allows you to use your phone as a lightsaber while using your computer as your game screen. (SO COOL)
- There is also a 360 degree VR experience through the cardboard experience on your phone on Jakku with BB-8
