Do you work off a pony base or make your own? Are you using Premo? Asking cause I have a very old original that could use a makeover.

I work of an existing base. I take all the old hair out, give the pony a good bath, strip off the old paint, bathe again and get the clay out for details.

I use a mix of premo, sculpty III (which is a tad brittle unless you mix it) and fimo clays.

Just make sure if it's a g3, you take the hoof magnet out. You can bake them in the oven with the clay, but never ever go over 230 F. I try to stay around 200.

Zomgs I'm so impressed! This is totally awesome! It couldn't be any cooler... well if it was cooler, by say 20%, they would just come to life and conquer the universe.
