re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

"The Captain is about ready to land as we have clearance for the Alderaan Security Force. Please make your way immediately to the Hanger Deck so we may disembark swiftly upon our arrival." he let go the button momentarily then finished, "And may the Force be with you all."

After letting Gaiutus finish, Freyinn looked at his finished prototype lying on the table. It was a work of genius, it had a basic tool kit consisting of a hydrospanner, arc welder, an all-size adjustable wrench, and an all-size adjustable screwdriver. He had added a small computer with the latest in intrusion technology and various combat software that would make the arm no hinderance in combat. To say the least, Frey was proud of his creation. It would be very useful in the coming months.

The Jedi walked over to his workbench and unlocked his far inferior prosthetic arm and laid it on the table. He grabbed his new limb and locked it into place with a satisfying click and stab of pain as his nerves connected with the electric network of the technology.

He ran a diagnostic and was relieved to see that everything was running at 100%. He walked over to a set of weights and grabbed the 50lb arm weight and lifted it with his right arm and then his left, he repeated this with the 60 and 70. He grabbed the 90lber with his left arm and lifted, the gyros in his arm screeched then his arm lifted to shoulder height. He would have to get used to having a stronger left arm than right. He walked over to his robes and pulled them over his undertunic. He grabbed his equipment and stuffed it in his duffel bag, clipping his saber at his hip, he continued to the shuttle bay of his ship.

He arrived and sent a message to his remaining bridge crew, with their reply he vacated his ship heading for the Pax Galactica shuttle bay.

"Republic ship Pax Galactica, Jedi Knight Freyinn La'Rone requesting permission to land."

Aldin, who was already geared up and ready to go, made his way to the Hanger deck. "Come on, lets move troopers!" he yelled to the crowd of troops. As he got to the deck, he thought about all the people who he saw die on Ord Mantell. He surpressed the thought, and waited for the ship to land.

Zelaias sped to the deck and made it in time to get inside while the doors closed. He turned just in time to see Gaiatus Balthar, excellent now he could ask for permission to visit his home and the gravesite of his parents.

He walked towards him as he finished speaking he faced him and Zelaias gave a noble bow and waited to be adressed.

Azno still in fear and still had the sabers at the old guy's throat. Azno was shivering in fear and his face was painful fright He spoke natural in a jittery shook up voice as if he was in the cold with little clothing "Please.......stop it." Then the lords took over again and cut the old man's head off right as the guards came up. Azno under the control of the lords then ran towards the center window and jump out landing on a transport that was waiting for him. Then the lords spoke through Azno telling the driver "Take him to shuttle bay 72 immediately." And Azno's controlled body was taken away yet again.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

Master Varrack made his way to the Hangar Deck as Gaiutus had instructed. The ship was buzzing with activity and energy, some nervous and fearful and some purposeful and eager. He passed by people with field packs and ordinance containers. Gear and supplies were being hauled and stacked neatly within the hangar. The deck crew worked to make sure that order was maintained and that disembarkment could be achieved efficiently.

A soldier approached Master Varrack with a quizzical look on his face. "Master Jedi, did you leave your necessities in your quarters? I can send for..."

Varrack cut the trooper short, in a directly polite manner. "No thank you trooper, I have everything I need." Master Varrack held open his cloak displaying his light saber, and then lightly tapped his temple on the left side of his head. He gave a brief but noticeable wink to the young mand.

"May the Force be with you." Varrack said as he continued on.

The trooper smiled and nodded and went back to his business.

Varrack found an area of the hangar that was unoccupied and he sat down, crossing his legs. He shut his eyes to briefly meditate. He had concern over one of the items that Master Balthar had mentioned. Mandolorians... while he respected their combat abilities, he did not respect what drove their prowess. Gaiutus had said, "all they ask is that we stay out of their way when they get down to the bloody business of combat." Varrack needed to consult with the force in regards to that agreement. Any action without moral or conscious oversight could potentially lead to dark tidings. He would be mindful of this in days and weeks to come.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

Aux walked up to the door of his old home, still without a clue of what he would say. His arm moved to knock before his brain could tell it not to.

"Who is it?" Aux's mom asked waling towards the door. She opened the door and said with a gasp, "Aux? Is it really you?" She then embraced aux in a hug, and said "We thought you were dead'

"Well I would have been," Aux said, "but a good group of people took me in, and nursed me back to health. He began to recollect the story of his harrowing mission to Dantooine, and how he came to be with the Pax-Republica. ((OOC: For more one this read my soon to be updated bio in the wiki)).

"We are about to eat dinner if you want to come inside," Aux's mom said, "We all have a lot of catching up to do"

Aux went inside and enjoyed a relaxing meal with his family, which consisted of his younger brother Kyle, who is currently home on vacation from his classes at the Republic Army Academy, his dad, Mike, and his mom, Lauren.

After dinner, which had consisted of fresh nerf steaks, Aux asked "Where is Sarah?"

Sarah was the name of the girl who had been his next door neighbor, and best friend his whole life. Just before he had been dispatched on his mission to Dantooine, they had both begun to think that they may be more than just friends to each other.

"Her and here family went on a holiday to the far side of the planet, by the seaside. They wont be back for a few weeks. " Aux's dad replied.

Aux needed to talk to her. He was still tryng to belive that they were just friends, so as not to violate the jedi code, but he still wanted her to know he was ok.

"Is there a speeder i can borrow" Aux' asked.

"Sure, you can take the x-10 in the garage," Aux's dad said while tossing him the keys.

Aux got in the speeder and set off for the other side of the planet.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

Andrew listen to Gaiutus speech as he was putting his armor on, in Pax Galactica barracks.

Chancellor Gaiutus Balthar wrote:
"A contingent of Mandalorians have come aboard and are willing to assist us against the Sith incursions, all they ask is that we stay out of their way when they get down to the bloody business of combat. "

"Sith spawn, what did he said??!!" - Andrew asked with incredulity.

"He said, that Mandos will be helping us." - politely replied one of soldiers.

"Is he crazy?" - asked another one

"I`m not fighting arm to arm with those criminals." - another one said

"Guys calm down, Gaiutus is wise and know what he is doing" - one of them tried to calm down rest of us.

"After all that they have done to Republic, he just calmly let them onboard?! - Still full of disbelife, than with anger in his voice - "I`m going to hangar deck, and I will spek with Gaiutus about those bandits, and everyone who was hurt by their blockade or at least know someone like that, should go with me" - With that Andrew put his helmet on and marched out of room, and some of soldiers followed him with grim faces, anger in eyes, and weapons in hands.

They were making their way to hangar deck.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

((OCC Since I'm not with the main group I will post again.))

Just as leaving Corusant Azno was mentally aware of everything but could not control any movement what so ever except his eyes and some facial expressions. The Lords knew of this and thought it would make Azno fall with their help. Azno was being pushed beyond his own limitations. He was sleep deprived, physically & mentally drained but the Lords controlled him like a puppet. His hands were slightly burned. He had many bruises on his arms, legs, and torso. All he could think about was what he had done. It clenched his heart like a empty hole of darkness.

He noticed that the group of Sith wasn't actually a part of the Sith Empire while watching someone talk over a holophone. The people around him where a bunch of mercenaries. Most of them where Republic exiles, and ex Sith military and some where demoted of Sith Orders for not following regulations.

A Sith Marauder walked up and kicked Azno while he was sitting on the floor then saying "Get up fool or I'll cleave your head off." The Marauder ignited his saber and another said "Shut up Lonix, put your saber away or I'll kill you myself, you do forget that he is the perfect forge." Then Lonix said "But I just wanted to have some fun!" The other guy said "If you wanted(Then used force choke on Lonix) to have some fun why not ask me?" Said the captain sarcastically. The guy then Ripped Lonix's head off with the force and looked at a soldier and told him to clean up the mess he made. Azno had fear in his eyes while watching what just happened and the Lords put him back into a sitting position.

Due to busy schedules and lack of drive for the pbp : it is on hold until an ACTUAL RP officer can step up to the plate and carry this on. As guild leader I have much more important things to deal with and am afraid I cannot continue to run the PBP.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

After a short wait "Request to land granted, docking lock 4."

"Thank you." With that Freyinn guided the shuttle into the lock, locking it. Grabbing his gear which consisted of his lightsaber, a blaster, his elongated combat knife, a few choice grenades, and his glaives. Happily he didn't have to carry a bag full of tech equipment thanks to his arm.

Walking over to growing crowd grouped around a what looked like two squads of mandolorians and their kit.

Sensing his Master walk up behind him, Frey waited for the Jedi veteran to speak.

"Hows your arm? I heard as soon as you left you holed yourself in your workshop letting nobody in even my messenger."

Turning to face him the younger Jedi smiled and said "It's great, happily I had enough time to fashion a good prototype, it has some quirks but I made sure it would hold up in combat, unless you want me to life a swoop then we may have a problem."

Smiling in return Gaiutus replied "It's good to hear, and seeing as your combat ready I'd like you and a small group, say three or four, to go planetside and gather some intel on anything that is out of the ordinary happening in the polar regions."

"Will do, I think I already know who is going. Master would you allow me to transfer Andrew over to my command, on Ord I lost my commander for my commandos and I would like Andrew to replace him. Also can you transfer a sniper specialist to my command as well I have 2 spots open and I have somebody else in mind to fill the first all I need is a long-range specialist for that squad, upon that Republica's Rangers will be battle ready."

"You thought of a name for them?"

"Yes, finally."

"Okay, I will look into that specialist for you. Also I will have Andrew transfered as soon as possible, will you be bringing him planetside?"

"Affirmative, he seems capable enough I will be bringing him and my remaining squad leader planetside."

"That few? Okay, I'm trusting your judgement. Hop to."

"Aye sir." With the Frey left and went to gather his men.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

Gaiutus watched as Freyinn took off to begin his preparations. He sensed the mix of feelings which were flying throughout the hangar.

Hoping to avoid a direct confrontation with his men regarding the Mandolorians. They would respect his decision or be removed from his command. He walked up to the PA console and began to speak.

"Attention crew of Pax Galactica. This is Gaiutus Balthar. The Mandolorians are here to help and no discontent will be permitted. You are soldiers so smarten your asses up and act like some. You do as you are told, and get the job done. We are at war people, we will take all the help we can get to win it.

I have dispatched my padawan, Freyinn, to travel to the planet's surface with an ARC team, he will be leaving shortly. We have approximately twenty minutes to landfall in which time I expect everyone to check their gear, weapons, and other tools. Find your squadmates and go over chain of command. Just because this planet rests in our control does not mean we'll find an easy and warm welcome. Never forget Coruscant."

With that he removed his hand from the activation button and stepped back. He watched Freyinn running to and fro grabbing up the members to accompany him to the planet's surface ahead of the main force. He was determined to make sure there was no more events like on Ord Mantell.

As he walked down the steps from the control room he was met by a slim fellow who clearly represented a messenger from the Captain of the ship.

"Master Balthar sir. I have urgent news from the Captain. He says that Master Natira, your son Jacen, and your padawan Arkava have all been summoned to answer for crimes by the Jedi Council on Tython. When we land they will be picked up and taken from here to stand trial for violations against the Jedi Code and failure to stay true to those they swore loyalty to. Should I give them a reply sir?"

He frowned momentarily, his heart heavy at the loss of those he trusted dearly and loved, but it was too late to stop what was to happen. "I have nothing to say but I wish them a swift trial." He turned on his heels and walked towards the large window in the hangar and stared out at the stars.

Jek-Al-Din walked in a crowd of people going to the hanger bay. He found a crate to sit on and smiled to himself. There were many powerful jedi in the area. It was somewhat of a shook to feel the force so consentrated in a place.

Jek-Al-Din closed his old eyes and tried to see if he could locate all the jedi onboard. However, there were so many people around that it made it hard for him to foucus. Life as a hemit had made it unconfortable to be with so many individuals.

"I hope my age won't hinder me in the coming battles."

He could feel his reflexes beginnging to become slower the older he got. And he was quite old by this point. He chuckled thinking about how fast he used to be as a young man.

Jek-Al-Din waited for the next announcement to tell the group what to do.

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

As Andrew and his group was making their way towards hangar bay, they heard Gaiutus over intercom:

Chancellor Gaiutus Balthar wrote:

-Shit!! - Andrew said - This is one reason why I prefered to be a mercenary. Ok guys... Gaiutus is kinda right, go back to barracks and get your gear ready, we meet in hangar in 5 minutes. So get your asses moving!!! - He yelled

Standing few steps away from them, Freyinn smilled while looking at this scene

-Aren`t you to harsh for them Andrew? - Young Jedi asked

-Not really, they are used to it - Andrew turned his eyes on him - You want something or is it just friendly visit?

- Yeah, actually, I have orders from Gaiutus to transfer you to my squad, so how did you said it? Ah yes, go get your gear and meet me in hangar in 4 minutes. And get your ass moving mister. - He smiled at Andrew

When he heard that, first he felt like he was whacked in head by some blunt weapon, but he got himself together, saluted and forced himself to answear "Yes sir!", than he turned around and start walking toward barracks.

- Hey, I was just joking, take your time and meet me in hangar, we are going planetside to gather intel. Oh and drop that "sir" thing.

- Yeah, I`ll be right there, just need to get some things from my locker. - Andrew said as he was walking away from Freyinn.

When he got to barracks, his fellow soldiers were surprised to see him.

- What happened sir? - One of them asked

- I was transfered to Freyinn La'Rone unit... This means I won`t lead you from now on - He sigh heavily.

- What?

-No.

-They can`t do that - They were talking one after another

-I`m affraid they can, we are soldiers, and we need to follow our orders... I came back to get my stuff. - He start packing his equipment.

They were looking at him in silence, when he was done, he turned to them, and said:

- Well than, listen to your new commander and don`t get yourself killed, we will probably see each other soon. - With that he took his stuff and went out of barracks.

Soldiers stood for next few moments shocked, and then they returned to packing.

Andrew got to hangar few minutes later, and looked around for Freyinn.

Kryad stood in front of the mandolorians.

"Okay I do not want to see more than three to four gun on each of you!" Kryad yelled out!

"Yes, sir! We will do it!" It came from everyone.

"Okay and one other thing, do not fire, before we give you the command. Do not be offended!" Kryad yelled.

The leader came down with one heavy gun and two hand guns, and a grenade launcher and two vibro swords.

"Ah you are ready I see. Well now we need to wait for the commands to come." Said Kryad

re: Picking up the Pieces. Chapter 3.

"I think I got it!" yelled one of the four rebels, and he spoke the truth. Upon much sparking and electrical discharge from the panel, power was restored to life support and general convieniences such as lights and instrument panels. Dustin immediately started tinkering with a few, pinpointing the power loss to the engines. It almost made him laugh.

"Power to the engines is fine, we ran out of fuel. Are there any reserves somewhere?"

"Yeah, in the cargo hold."

"Well get it then, theres a lot of traffic all of a sudden. Your ship happens to be quite small, and I wouldnt be surprised if some lazy sensor operations dont turn it into dents on these monsters."

He was eyeing the many Republic Cruisers, or rather, Alderaanian Cruisers painted red, grow in ever increasing numbers. Some of them could be quite large, but nothing compared to the Dreadnought that had dropped out of hyperspace, in full Republic glory. It simply sat there, like a sleeping cheetah among a herd of gazelle. The main guns were large enough to put entire holes on the planet's surface. Dustin wondered how many ships like that the Republic had, because if it was sufficient, the Sith would lose quickly.

"Its done!" came a yell from the back, and the instruments confirmed there was fuel, but just barely enough to reach the planet, let alone a starport. He fired it up anyway and went down, avoiding the now very clustered space lanes. For once, the atmosphere entry was smooth, and they just finished the process when the last bit of fuel ran out. They were now coasting.

"Okay I take it back, these clunky wings arent so bad. Might keep us alive." Closest area to land was in the mountains, but that wasnt so bad, once Dustin checked the planet map.
