re: WoW Raid night survey [Results]

Results so far!

 9 responses so far

Thanks to Gilthresa, Tiffs, Gathornann, Error, FullMetal, Frost, Ciervo for responding!  Really hoping to also hear from Dom, Nylos, etc.

Nights and times for raid:

Sunday has 8 out 9 as a night people would want to raid, with 4 out of 8 saying 8pm-11est, others needing to start after 9pm or 10pm.

Monday has 5 votes

Tuesday has 7 votes

Wednesday has 5 votes

Thursday has 6 or 7 votes (sorry I had something clicked that gave an extra column so I think people used that as the can't go column)

Friday 4 votes, Saturday 4 votes.

As of now I would guess Sunday and Thursday could be WOW raid nights!

People's answers for trinity class:

Gilthresa:  DPS/heals as a Priest

Tiffs:  DPS or Heal

Mystery Person: Warlock or Elemental Shaman DPS is what I'm planning right now with a possible Tank alt.

Gathornann: Shaman (any spec). Mistreaver or Brewmaster Monk as alt.

Error: Druid/other melee DPS, OR Druid heals

Fullmetal: Druid heals or Disc. Priest

Frost: Combat Rogue/Fury Warrior dps

Buck: Pally tank, or Pally DPS, or anything else we need

Nwahs: Pally tank or Priest heals

Woot, those nights can definitely work for me. I'm pretty excited :)

Quick question, do we have approximate times for Thursday? I don't remember how the survey laid own weekday times.

re: WoW Raid night survey [Results]

That part was hard to identify.

For Thursday, 3 said 8-11pm eastern, 3 said 9-midnight, and the other 1 was a "not this night" so really only 6 people voted, and I guess 9-11pm would be the comprimise.

For Sunday, 4 said 8-11pm, 1 said 9-midnight, 1 said 9 - 11pm.

Tuesday has the same response as Thursday, exactly.  3 for 8-11, 3 for 9-12am

re: WoW Raid night survey [Results]

Sorry for being MIA the last week or so, been busy with work.  Sundays and Thursdays will be interesting.  I will have other commitments every other week.  So I can make every other raid on those nights.  May just start working on my lock more and plan on showing up as dps

Mythic Dungeons Option - Check out the Dungeons section at the bottom. It's interesting how they are approaching dungeons this expansion. Gives some flexibility on how you can continue to progress even through dungeons through-out the expansion. The point is that even with 5 mans you can still login, complete some relevant content as a guild, in a pinch.

Friday 4 votes, Saturday 4 votes.

As of now I would guess Sunday and Thursday could be WOW raid nights!

People's answers for trinity class:

Tassadork:  Tank/heals

Walela:  Hunter dps, working on a priest (role?)

Dominoxious:  any

Gilthresa:  DPS/heals as a Priest

Tiffs:  DPS or Heal

Morovin: Warlock or Elemental Shaman DPS is what I'm planning right now with a possible Tank alt.

Gathornann: Shaman (any spec). Mistreaver or Brewmaster Monk as alt.

Error: Druid/other melee DPS, OR Druid heals

Fullmetal: Druid heals or Disc. Priest

Frost: Combat Rogue/Fury Warrior dps

Buck: Pally tank, or Pally DPS, or anything else we need

Nwahs: Pally tank or Priest heals

Nylos: I know he tanks but he may have an alternate, hasn't responded yet

That means so far we have the following based on people's first choices:

Tank: 3 including Nylos, myself, Buck... I will go heals though so let's say 2 tanks

Heals: 2 including me

DPS: 6

ANY: 2 people Dom and Morovin let's say DPS.

Lots of choices based on people's alternates.

re: WoW Raid night survey [Results]

I totally forgot I replied to this already I'm sorry.

I'm willing to Tank DPS or Heal, so Nwahs if you want to tank go for it.  I know I'm going to start as Ret because Ashbringer anyway, but would love to heal.

As far as days go, my schedule changes every week because of my 24/48 schedule.  So I work one day and am off the next two.

I work every Black day

With how the flex raiding works it shouldn't be an issue at all if I miss here and there.

re: WoW Raid night survey [Results]

Would be easier if I can tank because I feel like it will take close to eternity to level and gear my priest from 90-100 haha.  Now I can focus on my tank for a while and if I want enough I'll work on the healer. Thanks!

re: WoW Raid night survey [Results]

I think the main focus should be on filling the raid with the appropriate composition; you can start Highmaul at ilvl 630 (recommended) and 670ish is Heroic Highmaul.

Its a good place to start to test mechanics and team cohesion and if you have been in Tanaan for more then 15 min you should out level the place. If you were looking to to straight into HFC we will need to get the collective ilvl to around 685ish which is heroic BRF ilvl to be comfortable.
