Everyone! Hear ye hear ye!
I hereby promote Scubax to the rank and duties of a Marshal!
By all rights, Scubax should have been promoted to Marshal last week when Iceroid promoted. I did not promote him at the time because I felt Iceroid's leadership in raids is unparalleled in the guild, and at the time I was looking at the rules I set out for myself/us for ranks, which said that I wanted Marshals to only make up 5% of the guild.
I realize now that that is wayyy too bureaucratic for a simple gaming guild like ours. Also, I realized that was a bit silly because I said officers wouldn't make up more than 20% of the guild, and we are only at 10% (in hindsight, I think I'll change that to say officers should be around 15%, marshals between 5-10%). On top of all that, Scubax was offered an Officer position but decided with his work schedule he may not be able to fully fill that role, which is the perfect reason to be a Marshal.
All that said, Scubax I personally apologize to you for not promoting you sooner. You deserve this!
