Biggs Darklighter In Rogue One?

For those that remember Luke's friend Biggs in ANH...it looks like he might be making a return for Rogue One...which technically takes place before ANH. Biggs grew up on Tatooine with Luke and left for the Imperial Naval Academy and he eventually defects and joins the Rebels...and thus the reunion in the hanger of ANH. Anyway...check out the pic of the cast of Rogue One. The one guy looks a lot like Biggs.

OR it could be Biggs' little brother, Gavin.  He was inducted into Rogue Squadron by Antilles.

The only thing is that this takes place before A New Hope...which would mean Biggs is younger. Luke stayed home on the moisture farm for a couple years while Biggs went off to the academy. It wouldn't make much sense to have Biggs' younger brother be the focal point of the new movie. Again...Rogue One is about stealing the plans for the Death Star, which leads to what happens in A New Hope. I guess it's always possible but Biggs was definitely Imperial before he joined the Rebels and I believe on of the guys has an old Imperial symbol on his shoulder and it would make sense on how they stole the plans if they have defectors.

X-wing series of books is excellent, canon or not they're a good read.

 Great books! I read those back in Jr High and loved them. I hope they turn them into movies, too.
